Sitting and waiting isn't always an option. I let my oldest son (15) farm 40 acres of leveled and irr. rice ground and 50 of dryland line graded ground. I am expanding my farm to the south. Land is hard to find to rent or sell. I hope to find more south of here and buy land for myself and let him have a share he can farm. Our family has farmed in this area since 1908 and I don't plan on every quitting that tradition.
