Very True, Steve. A Big If, but IF the commodity markets do hold in the flux they are in righ now, we could be totally debt free in 3 yrs, including having our quater section of 100% tillable ground paid for. Only 90 of the 600 is rented outside of the family. So yes, we could be fairly stable, since really tightning our belt on our machinery costs. I do all my machinery maintainance, and hire out as little as possible of any other work. One thing that has really helped is trading/bartering with neighbors.
So yes, in summation, our 600 could provide for us.
