Well, I was a little later than you, graduated college in 92. But, around 2000 or so there were still a couple guys I know personally, guys that were blowing and going and farming lots of ground, that sold out and sale wouldn't pay off the machinery. I personally wouldn't have guessed it. One of the guys is about my age, and his statement was that it would take him 10 years driving a truck to pay off the farm debts he'd racked up in about 6.
