Mexicans are native to this continent, but some just happened to be camped on the wrong side of the river when some white dude came through and declared that river a border. I know a Mexican from a border town who had to file paperwork and jump through hoops to get citizenship. His wife is a Native American who gets all the benefits of citizenship and more. They were born and grew up less than five miles apart.
