Before we went farming on our own, my husband worked on a dairy and had VERY GOOD benefits: Health insurance 100% paid for, 401k, 2 weeks paid vacation, every other weekend off. (to the person who said Ag personnel do not get benefits, this thinking is the reason why Ag wages are so pathetically low, we asked for it, we got it).
