Our milkers make about $25,000 a year, have house with utilities, and satellite tv. My feeder gets $31200 a year with the same benefits plus health insurance. I have tried in vain to get RELIABLE Americans to do these jobs and it has been a failure. I can tell you have never run a business because if we had to pay $60,000 a year per milker that's a perfect prescription for bankruptcy. Maybe we will do like the oil business where monopolies own everything and can raise the price at will. If we went to our milk processors and told them we needed more money because of increase wages they would laugh us out the door and tell us if you people can't produce dairy products at world market prices we will just buy our products off shore. Its' just the cold hard facts of life.
