Take most any other farmer and put him in charge of a dairy and he couldn't handle it.  The intensity and 24/7 with almost zero margin and never a down day, most would croak their first day on the job.  I have no respect for somone who doesn't respect a dairy farmer.  A guy who buys his inputs once a year and harvests his crop in one month, couldn't hack it a day.  A dairy farmer makes more decisions in an hour than a crop farmer makes in a year.  Dairy farmers rank up their with doctors and teachers in my view, my hats off to everyone of them.
