I agree with you cousinit. One reason our health insurance premiums are going up dramatically is because we are paying for everybody who doesn`t have any. These big dairys claim they pay very well but 12 to 15 bucks an hour is not a living wage. Over on another thread health insurance premiums are being discussed. Unbelievable what we are going to pay for premiums in another year or two. We should have a two tier pricing system in this country like cananda. All of our milk is priced on the surplus milk which isn`t coming from the small to mid sized dairies its coming from the large ones. Don`t know how many cows it takes to be large but anything over 300 fits the bill i guess.
Sorry but i just had to vent and tell my feelings.
