Holstein, NE | I have a Shaben 80' pull type with a 1500 gallon tank behind my 7120 CIH tractor using a Deere 2630 display for section control and a autotrak universal steering setup. Most of my applications are 10 gal/ac so I can spray a full quarter without tender support. Even when I need 15 gal/ac, it's not a big deal to make that extra trip, saving the capital expense and labor to tender. My furthest farm is 12 miles away. I just pull up to my shop where I load and mix everything there and off I go. I'm only at 1200 acres but with 3 applications, that system along with the chemical savings has saved me thousands!!! | |
