nc ks | I'll agree and disagree with some of the responses. First, it is a huge labor commitment and a fairly sizeable machinery and supporting equipment commitment. If having regular weekends off is important to you, it might not fit, but if you are a get er done when the time is right it might fit you.
That said, money wise it is a no brainer unless the outfit you are working with is passing along less than retail pricing. You won't pay for the sprayer with not having to pay the $7.50 per acre charge. You'll pay most of that anyway. It is the huge, and I mean huge, savings from chemical purchases. Timeliness is another big factor but it does not sound like that has been a problem for you. | |
