Eastern Half of Kansas
You need to run your own numbers but when I bought 4730 in 2020 I could save $40,000 in chemical on your acres when we were going to change who sprayed for us or owning our own sprayer. You’re not going to get the cost savings buying hot loads from retailer. It’s a huge time commitment, that we are struggling with now. It may not work for you as you said your dad is slowing down. Just my opinion start with a $100,000 4730 or 4830, or different color, don’t have to run what the neighbors do to keep up. I won’t own 4930, 4940 because of how heavy they are, to run wet ground and footprints in worked ground and skinny tires.
