| That's how I look at it. In a perfect spring I'd love to spray it all myself using my 1000 gal 60' pull type. But only having a handful of days fit to be in the field from May 1 to June 10 greatly compressed my time available to get seed in the ground. I don't give a second thought to leaving my rig parked and getting on the planter while my neighbor who sprays for my independent dealer covers my ground. We're so late now that there may not be much post spraying done but I will do it myself since I should have the time then. Had I tried to do it all myself I'd still have beans to plant and muddy fields waiting on me to get there. I'll gladly write the application check if it allows more timely planting in a late, wet, spring. | |
