All very close together. All in big clusters like you said, and all flat as a table top. We have rtk on the planter tractor so rows are all straight as an arrow.
IMO, forget the self propelled and get a BIG pull type.
120’ boom, 1600 gallon+ (2400 would be better) and a big pump. 1 guy can get a lot done in a day by himself by strategically parking the tender truck between fields.
