Central Nebraska | I won't help you much with the coffee part as I drink plenty of it myself but as for pop/soda I found that not keeping it around was the best solution. I have not had a problem with it for 8-10 years and the first few were sometimes difficult. The biggest change for me came in 2019 when I drastically reduced my total sugar intake and lost 20 lbs. That meant zero pop, cookies, candy, etc. and I did that for about 14 months I think. Prior to that I was probably drinking one pop/day during the week and several on a Saturday. I replaced pop with iced tea and water. For a while I tried some sparkling flavored water but I don't really enjoy that. I'm now at the point where we keep a few cans of pop around and I'm not tempted by it. The kids drink it occasionally when but a 12 pack lasts a long time unless their friends drink it. I took one can with me in the truck last week but struggled to drink it all. |
