I commend you on your major decision. I would think that especially over several years it would really pay out.

However I have a F-350 (7.3 psd). It is now the only vehicle I drive, period. About a year-and-a-half ago I cancelled all the insurance on all my other vehicles and put them in storage. That is how I am fighing high fuel costs. Luckily my old 7.3 squeezes out around 16 yet in winter, but after it warms up and I get back to straight #2 its pretty easy to get 18 on a regular basis. But now with diesel at 4.00 its costs over $150 to fill it up. But with all the odd things I haul, I can't imagine being without a heavy pickup.

My friend just bought a 08 4-door duramax, strictly for a church and going out to eat vehicle. I think its a case of small male reproductive organ syndrome, but to each their own....
