Subject: How much did the new

North End I-15
Vehicles cost ?
Will the cost of buying 3 different vehicles cover the savings in gas ?
12 MPG @ $3.25 Per gallon = $.2708 per mile.
16 MPG @ $3.25 per gallon = $.2031 per mile .
20 MPG @ $3.25 per gallon = $.1625 per mile .
24 MPG @ $3.25 per gallon = $.1354 per mile .
28 MPG @ $3.25 per gallon = $.1160 Per mile .
Range difference from 12 to 28 = $.1548 per mile
10,000 miles driven would equal a savings of $1548.00 per year . per vehicle.
Are you going to drop the insurance on the other 3 ?

Sounds more like a feel good exercise than a real cash savings "bottom line " thing . :>)

The shock @ the pump is still real :<(

Things my neighbor did when gas went from $ .28 to .50
1. Kids ride school bus
2. Neighbors pick him up to go shoping /meetings , etc.
3. Buy gas in 5 gallon cans / Bulk tank cost too much to fill.
4. Only one trip to town per week . (Church ) buy gas in 5 gal cans , get groceries , mail , etc. Any other day of week see #2

Smile :>)
