I dont see why in the heck that sort of thing can't be done on old strip pit mines. we have 1000's of acres of them, strip pits in macon and randoph counties in north mo and leave the un spoiled land alone. I agree lots of old strip mine ground here that is not being farmed but they don't want that. Good soil that will grow crops is what there after. The strange thing is the a lot of old mine ground is close to the power plant and has power lines running through it. |
