Power sources change over time.

Whale blubber used to be a valuable commodity as a light and energy source on the east coast.

Change is fine. I’m for it.

Electric power didn’t come around to the masses until far less than a century ago. Where would we be without our light switches and electric motors.

Where would we be if we were trying to maintain our economy on whale power. Would be foolish.

But.

Mandates to a single power source just because we can make mandates makes no sense to me either.
