When Jim Hill decided to build a cross country line along the northern tier, he didn't whine because he couldn't get fed subsidies or stop because he would need to use horses and slips instead of steam engines. He used the tools at hand to build better tools. That is what civilization and progress looks like. When I started farming, I didn't sit and pout because I had to ride an open station tractor pulling small implements and filling my box drills with a half-bushel recycled grease bucket. I went ahead and did what was required and used to proceeds to buy better.
