swohio | Worked a 40 hour a week job for over 22 years before I became a full time farmer. Never thought I would farm full time but the place I worked at got sold and could stay with a large drop in pay. Was able to swing it but not easy at all. When I worked full time had my ground custom sprayed and fert. applied. Heck I still have fert. custom applied today. One man show. Being unhappy at work is not good for your heath. My wife was a stay at home Mom so it really was a challenge. Buy the largest planter you can afford and get stuff done. Lots of long days back then but always got it done. | |
