Thumb of Michigan | The first thing that popped into my mind was 'the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence'. With that said, if you're unhappy, that is detrimental to your job performance where you at, getting out could be most important. 30 more years of unhappiness most likely would not be good for you, your family or anyone else.
I'm guessing this is a crop only farming operation, so with new job could you schedule your vacation time during the busy times, along with allowing your brother to take some responsibilities over? Everyone has 168 hours a week to work with, YOU determine how you want to spend them. If you're not happy, some of your 168 hours will seem a lot longer. | |
