Sure it made sense.
AS always the ones that manage well have to pay for the ones that don't.
Also many loan officers were poor managers. One told me He was given a farm, the machinery to farm it and the crop in the bins. It took him 2 years to loose it.
I do think some Loan officers resented the farmers who were still doing OK.
Those who farmed through the '80's ?
