It was a great time for those with some cash. We bought a lot of new equipment in the mid to late 80's. I bought a tractor new, ran it for 4 years and sold it for about half again what I paid for it.
I bought a new disc to replace one PCA told me to sell. It cost $900 less than the old disc I had bought a few years earlier.
Those who farmed through the '80's ?
