WC Iowa | Plowboy, I have a feeling what Illini is saying is this, lets say you're renting a farm at current rates, I'll say $250/acre (just pulling a # for reference) and the 250 is close to top dollar, you've been renting that farm for years, then some BFO comes around and starts talking to all the landlords offering more $$$. I'm sure you've got friends that wouldn't do that to you, but there are guys out there that don't care. I think it's more the Idea of going around to everyone else landord trying to get the ground for themselves. Then it gets to relationships. A good relationship with the landlord and there prob won't be any probs and the BFO will probably be denied no matter what the $$ involved. | |
