Simple enough.  If two people at an auction want something and have money to spend, they can and will spend whatever they want to get it, without regard to being able to make money on it. 

 

Really no different then going and buying a new Lincoln for twice as much as a Probe....the Probe will do the same job, but you want the Lincoln, you have the money, so you pay for it.  

 

The problem is that some seem to think that just because they can't figure out how to make something work, no one else should, either.  That's not how the world works, fortunately.
