Subject: Re: bad neighbors

Extreme SW Minnesota Iowa border
I think its two seperate issues. I have a neighbor that I actually respect more then my own dad, and we work back and forth a lot. He is slowing down, so he is renting off a quarter a year, and downsizing. He didn't even offer me the farm. Does that make him less of a neighbor,? Heck no. Will I still do stuff with him? Of course. We have been friends for 30 years, and helped each other through good times, and some of the worst. ( back in the 80s we shared a combine, when ours blew up and I couldn't get the bank to help me fix it). People like that are neighbors. Someone you know, who is gonna drop what ever they are doing, if you are in trouble, and you would do the same. If the phone rang right now, I would be at his place in under 10 mins. And if I called him, he would be here in 5.
