Brazilton KS | You don't really have to be the absolute lowest cost producer, although that's a good goal to strive for. What you do have to do is NOT be the highest cost producer in the market, because if you are, you will be the first one to go negative and probably the first one to be pushed out. As long as you can remain "not the highest cost" at whatever level of production the market requires, the market will need you and it will provide for you to make a living.
