Used to stop at Sturbridge all the time going up to and returning from Nashwa NH. Sheesh...that's almost 30 yrs ago now.

First and only time going to the Detroit Market with bulk melons, delivery @ 2 ...yeah right.... they don't open till 4. Big ole Buck jumps up on the running boards says gonna help unload. Nope, bulk melons....get graded during unloading, in house lumpers, no outsiders allowed. That's when I heard the "click" of the 38 right above the window sill. I gave him my "trucking" wallet to make him disappear into the shadows hoping the $40 was sufficient to keep him there.
