nw Iowa | One more story!! Had a trucker friend who had a run down thru Dallas, Tx. about once a week. He knew the area! He and his wife took some time off, drove down south thru Dallas, went thru to south end to save a little time for starting out the next day. They were driving a new car, stopped for breakfast, where they come out to the car, some kid standing there, "give me your money". Now you had to know this guy, no way in hell he was going to do that. Kid shot him, and ran off. Figured it could have been some kind of gang thing. Of course I had a funeral to attend. The guys wife still works here in our local coffee shop. Moral of of the story could be, stay the hell out of those kind of places. jps | |
