It’s a double edged sword. I have that freedom at my day job, however my phone rings 6 to 10, 7 days a week. Your never “off work” so it’s really hard to leave town and relax. I about panic if I have to go somewhere without cell service.
I can attest that the mental stress of my day job is usually way more exhausting than any physical labor I get into on farm.
