Bill, it used to wear me out looking for calves that the cows would leave behind near a wooded creek. Then being on the ready during heavy fog when the yotes would come in close to try and snatch a fresh calf. Black headed buzzards just as worrisome. I couldn't hardly relax with young calves on the ground and then having to be busy also with multiple projects further away.
