Could get power teeing into the wire feeding the injection pump
And I would look into installing a battery disconnect
If he does that, it better have a pull cable to kill the engine which it wouldn’t if it has power to the injection pump.
Have to put a diode in the line to #1 so it won’t backfeed the injection pump. Without a diode, it can even backfeed if you end up hooking the wire to the ignition bus where the pump solenoid gets its power. A feed from the accessory bus is OK since it gets disconnected from the ignition bus when key is off. |
