| I have power!!!!
Ok - so the alternator works. I sorted through the different suggestions as best as I could. I ended up making a little pig tail from the top 2 terminals to the BAT. Started the truck and I have 14.5 Volts with a voltmeter in the cab that looks alive. I sent a picture of the setup.
So from reading everything you guys wrote I can’t leave it like this or it will run the battery down. It sounds like I need to hook the top terminal (right side as you look at it from the back to the alternator) to the ignition switch so it’s not getting power while the truck is off. Any other thoughts on the next step? The thing I am most baffled by is how this thing worked for the last year. I really don’t see any wires that would go to the top terminals.
For now at least I can hook and unhook the pigtail to make the alternator work.
