I do not believe the brakes failed at all. I believe he, like many other new Tesla drivers, was not fully familiar with how that car reacts compared to most others they have driven in the past. It is a known thing. Again, this is why the Hertz deal failed. Too many wrecks by people unfamiliar with how Teslas handle vs "regular" cars. Take that unfamiliarity and combine it with his admitted aggressive driving and you have a wreck. |
