If I were you I would get an issue of Hemmings Motor news and find a mint condition 1978 Ford Granada 4 door with a straight 6 cylinder. The whole family would love how safe and dependable it is. Starts, runs, stops, seat belts, easy to work on, no dealer updates. Just transportation like it was meant to be.
