lol. I imagine you put that there for the same subtle reason I then put “Most trolls don’t have the moral character to apologize” in response to it.
It’s been countless years since history class in school but I remember that it was Copernicus, Bruno, and Galileo that challenged the consensus of Earth being at the center of the universe and it was Bruno that got executed.
I searched the great Google to make sure I remembered it right and the article said that most scholars believe that he was executed for a whole bunch of his beliefs and not necessarily because of the earth not the center of the universe issue.
So maybe I’m wrong about that too!???!? Maybe they just taught that in school because it fit into the topic of the course?!? I don’t know. But I’m going to use covid logic and if he died with that belief it was that belief that killed him.
