| One did a hard, nearly vertical climb overhead and this was nowhere near an airport or military installation. I don't recall the exact type of fighter jet but it was low enough when the pilot put the nose nearly straight up and hit the throttle you could see flames from the engines. The decibel level was ear splitting. I'll never forget how loud that was. Amazing how fast they can climb. The G forces must be incredible!!!! | |
