Nebraska, The land of corn and cattle

I went with floating cleaners, and it was ok, then picked up a used cleansweep system and it made a world of difference, I can now move just the amount of residue I want.

Weve also went to using a rolling chopper with a harrow in the spring on our acres, which are COC or COM, We found it fluffs the residue a little and makes it much easier to move without trenching. It also does a nice job of making the residue mat nice and even after the wind blows it around all winter.

We stopped spraying 32% on because of the tie up, went to knifing it on at sidedress time.  Id even do a Ydrop before I went back to broadcast N on no till ground.
