Central Missouri | If you want consistent high yield potential corn you have to revamp your fertility program to meet what the plant needs and wants when and where the plant needs it. Usually in the residue you are dealing with, that doesn’t include spraying or dribbling n and s on top of residue. You need it in the ground in the root zone early.
You want improvement but not change. Those 2 don’t go together. We do in furrow and 2x2. The first picture is the same field as the second. It’s the only one I have showing smaller corn. The row configuration is an experiment we are doing. I just added a photo to show what that looks like now.
