southern indiana | I don’t disagree with that statement at all most any planter will. It’s how you go about getting it there that matters. If you move all the residue to get to clean dirt it will wash no matter what you do. We try to move the large stuff and cut through the small minimal disturbance. Sidedress all our nitrogen with coulter and knife can hardly tell where we have been when done. I agree with the yellow spots too. We keep putting in more tile to even those spots out or eliviate them all together. The pattern tiled fields make everything work 10x better. I understand it may not be an option but that’s where I like to start so all the soil is close to the same hopefully for the planter what ever kind it is to do the job correctly. | |
