Flag the "good" areas and flag the "bad" areas. Right before the combine rolls do a yield check by hand picking 17.5' of ears in a row in both areas and weigh/compare moisture. The results might surprise you.

Yup. Looks can be deceiving....I've seen some not so good looking corn yield as good or even better than the "good looking" corn.
