One hydraulic motor for each row would be fine with me although it's a little excessive in terms of running hose all over the place. In reality, I'd probably do 6 sections of four row units per section, or whatever is the closest that I can come to based off of how the shafts easily work out. The purpose of asking about 12 sections of two rows per section was for establishing what limitations there might be.

Anyways, I'm not sure how it matters how many sections there are if they are all plumbed in series.
