Subject: RE: Tesla update

West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12
You seem to be the first...and only person that mentions politics in this thread. Politics have nothing to do with my bias against anti-lock brake systems.

My first experience with a anti-lock brake system was with 1976 2070A I-H semi tractor with a 290 Cummins and 13 speed dad bought in 1979 with only 50,000 miles on it. The anti-lock brake system was completely removed from the truck by I-H because it would lock the brakes up going down the road at speed with absolutly no warning.

To this day I have almost zero faith in any kind of anti-lock brake system and can proabably count on one hand the number of times I have had a anti-lock brake system engage or have relied on a anti-lock brake system to control the braking of any vehicle I've driven for me.

I personally don't like Tesla vehicles becuase Tesla is trying to take the responsibilty of driving the vehicle away from the driver...and people are allowing the vehicle to do to the driving for them. A simple backup camera doesn't even "work" on a snowy/sloppy day on MN roads.
