You are right. That intersection sees a small handful of cars a day, and the vast majority of them are my employees (who weren’t at work and wouldn’t be for another half hour). There have not been school busses on that road in many years.
The way the road is I could see a half mile to a mile in either direction when I was a half mile from the turn. There was truly 0 chance of it being a T bone situation as seeing cross traffic would have resulted in slowing much earlier. They have the right of way and there would have been no reason to get there only to wait for them. |
