Good luck with the building.

One general point I would never build anything that was not handicapped assessable. You never know what might happen in the future, it's just a matter of making doors and hallways wider. Side benefit is it's easier to move furniture in.

Here's a few points that come to mind.

You CANNOT have too many electrical outlets. Kitchen, bathroom, office. We thought we had more than enough,
but we didn't. Depending on your office design, either have a hole in a desktop to get wires below or have a plug in
above the desktop level to make it easy to get to for something temporary. Watch that your electrician does not put
all of the outlets in one room like the office on one circuit, it's nice to have things spread out across several circuits.

Consider putting one plug in each outlet on a wall switch for a lamp and leave one hot all the time.

If you like outside lighting, put some circuits on the outside with a dusk to dawn controller on them
same goes for plugins on the outside for Christmas lights both on the wall and in the overhang of the roof.

Don't know where your shop is or other outbuildings, but while you are digging up things I would consider running some
2" UL underground from the house to what ever? We used ours to pull ethernet cable to the shop. Even put in a couple extra through the wall at the time you are building and just cap them off. We also ran conduit to our directv dish that was mounted outside on a pole, makes it very easy for the tech to get his lines into the house with no mess or fuss.

One last point, you CANNOT have too many electrical outlets. :)
