NW Ohio | You are right there, Pete. I finish my cattle on shelled corn and pellets. They also get a little hay each day. That usually keeps them from eating the wood in the barn! I've had many customers ask me where the grease is when they fry up a hamburger. I prefer the taste to grass or even silage fed beef. Years ago we used to feed silage and I still think you could taste the silage in the finished product. | |
