Well I will agree with you {as long as they eat beef}, rather than other foods. But yes cattle can and do finish on grass Roy unless you call choice marbling not finished, however most will be high select. Granted like I said I doubt if you have ever seen such an animal. We had some when I was young I just didn't know it and we are raising some now. Cheap have you seen the prices people pay for grass fed beef, cheap it is not. I'll try to get back with a link but like I said I am just going on what others said. One thing I do know it just isn't natural for a ruminate animal to be shut in a lot and fed grain, and yes we have some on feed at a lot. I really get upset when someone says any type of beef is no good. Again just eat more beef but in truth we are just preaching to the choir on this site. Ben
