North Mo. | I have been told by grass finishers that I need to feed good quality hay the sec. winter I, being the cheap person I am, have tried stockpile and it does not have the energy to keep the finish going. thus my calves I have harvested the steaks were not of the tenderness I liked. The Roast, Hamburger BBQ brisket was really great and the steaks had a great taste just not fork cutting type. Of course I have had lots of grain fed that didn't melt in my mouth either. Ben | |
