| I was 45 when Dad passed away on Thanksgiving Day , Mom said she had put eye drops in her eyes and when she looked over at Dad a few minutes later he was slumped over in his chair while watching the evening news..We had a big birthday party for him a few years earlier , he was born on Feb. 29 , 1912 ...Got to tell people that I had had twice as many Birthdates {40} as my dad {20} but he was twice as old as I was {80}.. He told me that his Dad passed away when he was just 7 years old in 1919.
