Moreauville LA | I was 31, he was almost 58. Massive heart attack, very unexpectedly. My son, now 23 barely a year old at the time was sick and I stayed home with him. Dad came visit most of the morning and left. We farmed together and the year was just starting.
Adding on to this, my grandfather died the same way in 1973. I was 3. Lived 1/4 mi down the road from us. Dad always had German shepherds that NEVER left the yard. They howled and barked all night. The next morning he went to bring me to grandmother to keep me while he and grandpa went feed the cows. The male shepherd beat my dad there and fought to keep my grandfather from taking me. They left to go feed. I was playing in the driveway when he returned, opened the door and fell next to me, dead.
